When it comes to graduating college, Rutgers head coach Eddie Jordan proved it’s better late than never. Very, very late.
On Saturday Jordan — who played basketball at Rutgers from 1973-77 — graduated with a bachelor of science in Labor Studies and Employment Relations.
Jordan garnered controversy in May 2013 when it came to light a month after he was hired as the Scarlet Knights’ head coach that he had never actually graduated (despite being listed on the school’s website as having a degree). He took eight classes over the last two years to achieve his degree.
Congratulations to Jordan, who needed a pick-me-up after a 10-22 basketball season.
